Belotrix - Privacy Policy

Magic Mirror Works ("we", "us", or "our") built Belotrix as a freemium application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use Belotrix.

Information We Collect

Camera Images

Belotrix uses your device camera (or photo gallery) to photograph playing cards. These images are:

• Sent to Google Gemini API for card recognition and scoring
• Processed in real time and not stored on our servers
• Not retained by us after the analysis is complete

We do not operate any backend server. Image processing requests go directly from your device to Google's Gemini API. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Error and Crash Reports

We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and error logs. This helps us fix bugs and improve app stability. Sentry may collect:

• Device type and OS version
• App version
• Error stack traces
• General usage breadcrumbs (e.g., which screen was active)

No personally identifiable information is collected through Sentry. API keys are automatically redacted from all logs.

Advertising

The free version of Belotrix displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use data as described in Google's Advertising Privacy Policy. This may include:

• Device advertising identifier
• General location (country/region level)
• Device information

You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings.

In-App Purchases

Belotrix offers a one-time Pro upgrade through Google Play. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google Play and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Data Stored on Your Device

Belotrix stores the following locally on your device using AsyncStorage:

• Team names
• Game scores
• Selected AI model preference
• Language preference
• Pro unlock status

This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time using the "Reset All" option in the app settings, or by uninstalling the app.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data (beyond what AdMob may collect)
• Contact lists or address books
• User accounts or login credentials
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking

Third-Party Services

Belotrix uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Google Gemini API - Card image analysis
• Sentry - Error and crash reporting
• Google AdMob - Advertising (free version)
• Google Play - In-app purchases

Children's Privacy

Belotrix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
